We arrived in Paris and dropped our luggage off at the hotel and went straight to Rue Montoegueil and found Cafe Montegueil. It was perfect to sit just inside because we got the feeling of sitting outside but weren’t in the sun. I got the goat cheese salad and my wife got the quiche Loraine. Both were excellent and great way to start our trip to Paris. Highly recommend!

The food was good – excellent duck leg, varied tapas, and fine pasta. Friendly service, with a slightly old-fashioned but pleasant atmosphere. The area is full of chic restaurants, and this one is worth a try.

Cafe Montorgueil offers a pleasant atmosphere and location. I liked the red fur on the chairs it's cute. They also had blankets if you were cold. I went 3 different times. I usually would get a croissant from Stroher walk to Cafe Montorgueil and order coffee and enjoy people watching. I did go with friends and we ordered a charcuterie board can't remember the name of it but . It was plenty for 3 people. Lots of cheese, meat, jams, bread, even Froi Gras which at this place I didn't like it, itbwas very strong in taste, also little sandwiches with different options, such as fish, chicken and meat. Overall cute place. I didn't try any main food there and i dont think I would, doesn't seem like a place for that. Tables are all tight together, but all the bistros are like that. If you want something small like coffee or wine and snacks while enjoying the day and people watching, I recommend it .

I only had a crêpe au Nutella and a hot chocolate - both were delightful and satisfied my sweet craving. The hot chocolate had a mild flavour like Swiss Miss. The cappuccino looked great too. The prices were average for Paris. The staff were pleasant. The location is cozy and great for people watching.

Fantastic! My sister and I stumbled upon this cafe during our stay in Paris and how lucky we were! Not only was the food fantastic but our server, Camille was outstanding! So kind and inviting - a real JOY! We came back 2 more times! The food was excellent! The Camembert cheese appetizer was delicious, French onion soup and steak Frits equally as good. Our breakfast was also delicious. Go ask for Camille and have a wonderful time! Merci Camille!
